What about the city walls taken over by a private company that doesn't pay taxes and fills their own pockets using state property. Hopefully there will come a time when the state takes it back for everyone to enjoy for free but based on the sorry state of your country that will take some time.

It was Yugoslav Communist regime that committed the real genocyde by wiping out Croatian, German and Italian population by hundreds of thousand. In the end (early nineties) the Yugoslav communist army lost the war for Croatia with Croatian Army beating the hell out of them.
